We may not show it, but don’t we all carry a secret streak of mischief? Like imagining ourselves running naked through a solemn event, or quietly catching a rhythm with our toes in a subway full of expressionless faces. Mozelle turns her gaze to such hidden moments: playful deviations tucked into the unnoticed gaps of everyday routines.

In Office series, installed throughout the exhibition space, begins with a potted plant placed in the lobby of a large corporate office. Looking at the potted plant, seemingly placed to soften the starkness of the space, the artist attempts a quiet act of botanical rebellion. Faint traces of movement, an off-key note that slips out mid-hum—these small gestures suggest a kind of whimsical disobedience. Within the rigid choreography of daily life, the plant seems to wriggle with joy, gently mocking those of us who tuck away our own mischief and pretend to play along.
