Seo Dong-hae

An arrowhead, constantly swaying left and right, almost touching the ceiling, struggles to maintain its balance. Seo Donghae says, "Life is made up of moments of choice that continuously unfold between birth and death." Using magnets, motors, and sensors to harness physical forces, the arrowhead sways endlessly in the air. Yet, facing the direction of "death," it is both a poem reflecting on life and a self-portrait in which the artist expresses his own existence.
